How Does Online Pesticide Training work?

Online Pesticide Training provides recertification credits for courses that are taken at your convenience.  You will read through the course material and take a brief course assessment at a time that is right for you.  Just follow these simple steps.  Feel free to print these directions to use as a reference.

1.  View the courses that are available by clicking on the appropriate state to the left of this screen. 

2.  Choose the course that is right for you and click on 'Buy Now'. 

3.  Pay for the course using your credit card with PayPal.

4.  An email containing login details will be sent to the address that you provide.

5.  Follow the link in the email to set up a username and password.

6.  Once you have successfully logged into your training account homepage, you will see the courses for which you are enrolled under the "My Training" heading.

7.  To begin a course, click on the course title.  The page that comes up will display the registration survey, the course modules, and the post course assessment that make up the course.  Be sure to read any instructions on the page before starting the first module.

8.  When you have completed the course modules, click on the course assessment.  You must complete the course assessment in order to successfully complete the course.

9.  After you have completed the course, a certificate will be generated and mailed to the address you provide in the registration survey at the start of the course.  Please allow 2-4 weeks to receive your certificate.

10.  To sign into the learning system and work with this course in the future, please go to https://opt.litmos.com and sign in with the username and password you set up.

11.  If you forget your password, please click on the "Forgot Password" button. Instructions to set up a new password will be sent to your email address.
